The finale of the 2025 0n1ydan5 Fundraising Races for Refuge
So that’s it! The final 42km of April, and I’m hoping for a little while!
The London Marathon is a fantastic event. The people running it, the spectators supporting it, all of it is awesome. And it was particularly special finishing it in a Refuge top this year!
My time was 6:54:24 – slower than Brighton and much slower than I hoped. I think I was doing OK up to halfway going over London Bridge, but shortly after that the heat hit me. I think I spent a lot of time in a blur, not really sure wheree I was. But I finished and was so good to have The Beautiful One and her mum come round for support.
It was also wonderful to see so many fellow Refuge runners at the start line and throughout the race.
A wonderful day for a great cause. And we’re still taking donations! https://www.justgiving.com/page/0n1ydan5
