The OpenUK State of Open, The UK in 2023 Phase One report is now out!

You may remember me talking about attending the OpenUK State of Open Con at the beginning of the year?

Well I really like what OpenUK are doing for open source in the UK and I do believe it has a place to complement the BCS and OWASP to come to the aid of open source in the UK.

They have started doing some really good get togethers in London and I urge you to go and visit one if you want to.

Anyhow, OpenUK have released the first in a series of 2023 reports looking at the State of Open Source in the UK. It’s a very thorough report packed with information from various sources across all things open. I was honoured to take the reigns on the Security part of the report after the excellent job OpenUK CISO, Andrew Martin from Control Plane, did on the 2022 report!
