Just a quick one, but I’m delighted to announce that I will be speaking on the Security track for the Open UK State Of Open Con with my talk Threat Modelling In The Open (Source) on February 7th, 4:00pm-4:30pm GMT!
As some of you know I have been very proud to have worked alongside Michael Crenshaw, Zach Aller and Sal Kimmich, last November & December, using Threagile and Game of STRIDE sessions to help identify threats in Argo CD. Michael, Zach and the rest of the Argo CD team then did the hard work of addressing them, if required.
Thanks to Michael and Zach, who were very supportive on allowing me to speak about the very small part I played on it. Also thanks to the Argo CD team – it really it’s a testament to them that they passed the CNCF Security Tag to graduate beyond CNCF Incubator project status, so well done!
Thanks also to Sal Kimmich who helped put me in touch in the first place. I really enjoyed being able help in the very small way I could.
Also a shout to Andrew Martin & Andrés Vega from Control Plane who have also been working on a very comprehensive threat model with the team, that helped then pass this stage. I am very interested in their findings, once published!
