Infostep 2021

Walking round the world!

So one thing that I’ve tried to do is get fitter. Probably since I broke every bone in one of my feet in 2015, I’ve struggled with weight. Rising from a healthy 12st to very unhealthy 18st after healing from broken foot and then managing to start weight loss and calf restrengthening again back to 14st 12lbs by 2018 was great. However by January 2020 maybe not feeling particularly happy in 2019, I had ballooned back to 17st 11lbs by January 2020.

Mainly since then, due to starting running and getting more active, the weight is shifting considerably! Hurrah!

Anyhow, with that fitness goal in mind, myself and a group of cybersecurity professionals will be pledging to walk 19,000 miles in the next 6 months. That’s from here to Australia and back! We will be raising money for two amazing charities:

The Innocent Lives Foundation who track down sexual predators that target children particularly to stop CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material).

The Cyber Helpline who are a free, confidential advice helpline for those that have been victims of cyber crime.
